live unique experiences in contact with nature
Teresa, is a small village at the head of the Palancia river, in the interior of the province of Castellón.
The Palancia river conditions our spectacular orography with ravines, springs and a unique stone formation as the Arco de la Solana.
This river is just a few meters from the village, which makes it possible to enjoy its pools and trails at all times of the year.
The tectonic movements of the Iberian System have allowed us to have altitudes ranging between 700 and 870 m above sea level and thus be able to enjoy a climbing area with an open route next to the Julbe (Jalbe) ravine.
The oldest remains of the population date from the Bronze Age, with Iberian and Roman remains, although they are not visitable because they were not rescued at the time. Teresa and the neighboring towns are of Arab origin and in the 15th century belonged to the lordship of the Military Order of Calatrava.

Water and traditional agriculture mark our history. In the XVIII century the botanist Cavanilles indicated in his book, referring to Teresa: “The river makes a thousand turns there to be able to continue its course…” highlighting its riverside orchards.
The water was used in the 19th and 20th centuries for the operation of several mills and the production of electricity.
Our cultural heritage and tourist attraction passes through various routes with official recognition in addition to being surrounded by trenches and military defense elements as the defensive line XYZ created during the period of the Spanish Civil War, crosses our mountains.
